Packers Fined $300,000 for COVID-19 Violations

The Green Bay Packers are going to be fined $300,000 for Aaron Rodgers’ handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, as he didn’t get vaccinated. Rodgers tested positive on November 3. Recently, Rodgers went on “The Pat McAfee Show” and said, “I shared an opinion that’s polarizing. I get it. And I misled some people about my status. I take full responsibility of those comments. But in the end, I have to stay true to who I am and what I’m about. I stand by the things I said.” Personally, I think that Rodgers is anti-vaccine and doesn’t want to admit it because he doesn’t want to get in trouble. Jordan Love isn’t a good quarterback. I agree with the fine, but $300,000 seems a little harsh. I understand that it’s your body and you can do what you want, but this isn’t smart. You’re putting your body at risk of getting sick.

Without Rodgers last week, the Packers lost to the Kansas City Chiefs 13-7. It was revealed that Rodgers and Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard attended a Halloween party despite being unvaccinated, while NFL rules state that players who are unvaccinated can’t have more than 3 players in a group. This is certainly interesting.
