Super Bowl 56 Predictions

This is it, ladies and gentlemen. Super Bowl 56. Here, I will be breaking down the big game, and give my picks on who will win it. The two teams are the Cincinnati Bengals and the Los Angeles Rams.

The Bengals had a rough season last season, but rebounded in a major way. Ja’Marr Chase quickly made a name for himself as a rookie, with 82 catches, 1,455 yards, and 13 touchdowns and winning Offensive Player of the Year. Joe Burrow had 4,611 yards and 34 touchdowns and won Comeback Player of the Year.

The Bengals clinched the AFC North in Week 17, beating the Kansas City Chiefs 34-31. They finished with a 10-7 record and were the #4 seed. They won their first playoff game in over 30 years, beating the Las Vegas Raiders, shocked the top-seeded Tennessee Titans, and beat the powerhouse Kansas City Chiefs in overtime to win the AFC and go to their first Super Bowl in 33 years.

Meanwhile, the Rams traded for quarterback Matthew Stafford weeks after they were eliminated from the playoffs last season. They also traded for wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and linebacker Von Miller during the season. They made the playoffs as a #4 seed as well. They smoked the Arizona Cardinals in the Wild Card, nearly blew a huge lead against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round, and came back against the San Francisco 49ers to reach the big game…in their own stadium. Now, before I get into my predictions, I want to say who I want to win. I want the Bengals to win, but sadly….

Prediction: Rams win 31-24
The Rams have too much star power for me to pick against them. The Bengals offensive line is horrific, and the linebacking core of the Rams will have an easy time against them. Joe Burrow will have a nice game, but I don’t think it’ll matter. I hope I’m wrong, however.

That’s the end of predictions for the season. I hope you enjoyed reading them, and I can’t wait for the Super Bowl. Good luck to the Bengals!
