Twitter has sued Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. They have done this to try and force him to complete his $44 billion dollar acquisition agreement. Musk is currently the richest person in the world. Musk has said that Twitter is hiding some data that Musk requested so he could determine the number of bot and spam accounts on the platform. The Twitter legal team said that Musk violated the agreement, and they were saying he must complete the deal. Musk’s original reason for buying Twitter was to remove all bot accounts, but he has said in recent weeks that there are more on Twitter than they actually reported. However, some people are saying that Musk just wants to get out of the deal since it is way overpriced right now. Twitter and the tech market have all seen their shares tumble, and Twitter’s market cap is only $27 billion right now, way more than the $44 billion offered in the deal.
