Meta, the parent company of Facebook, is getting sued by Meta. Meta isn’t actually getting sued by itself, but it’s getting sued by another company named Meta.is. They said that Facebook stole the Meta name from them, and it ruined their business. They said that is happening because customers are sometimes accidentally thinking that Meta.is is associated with Facebook, which is facing toxicity and backlash of its own. Meta.is also said that the new Meta is doing the same digital experiences that Meta.is once did. Meta.is does know that this will be a hard battle though, since Facebook is a much, much bigger company than Meta.is.
