Russia has announced that they will leave the International Space Station after 2024, which is when their commitment expires. Yuri Borisov announced this decision, and he runs Roscosmos, which is the state-controlled company that is in charge of Russia’s space program. It is not clear currently if Russia formally told other space station partners such as NASA that it would leave the project. NASA has already said that it wants to keep operating the station till the end of 2030.
