Google has agreed to pay Arizona $85 million dollars as a settlement

Google has agreed to pay Arizona $85 million dollars as a settlement. This was agreed on by Arizona Attorney General Mark Brnovich. Brnovich’s investigation on Google started in 2018, when an Associated Press article came out about how Google was deceiving customers about how they were tracking customers. Brnovich finally sued Google in 2020, for tracking people’s location deceptively. Even when users turned off their location history in settings, Google still collected their location without their permission.
