Me and my family went on a trip to Florida during Christmas Break.
We went to Islands of Adventure. I know you will be thinking, “Why didn’t you go to Disney?” Well, my family thinks that Disney is a kiddy place. But that’s just our opinion. I love roller coasters, in fact, take me to one and I’ll go on it! We went to Harry Potter Land first. The first ride we went on was the new Hagrids roller coaster. The line of the new Hagrids ride was 240 minutes (4 hrs)!!! When we went to Universal, we stayed at 1 of 3 hotels that give a free Express Pass. The Express Pass is that you can cut through the normal line and go into the express line so the wait time is so much shorter!!! Another good thing about the hotel we stayed in is that we are in 1 of 7 hotels that gave early access. Early access means that you get to go to the park 1 hr before the public comes. But… since our tickets expired we had to go to guest services and un-expire them. So we were losing all of our early access. Since there was a lot of inconvenience they gave us a single park attraction pass. Which we used for the Hagrids ride to cut the entire 4 hr line as it didn’t have an Express line either!!!!! By the way the only way you can get that Single Attraction Pass is that either you get inconvenience in Guest Services or your ride malfunctions midway. That’s why the Single Attraction Pass is so good.
Now we got to the Hagrids ride. That was the best ride I’ve ever rode in my life . That ride was a roller coaster. But, it was a special roller coaster. When we went up… we instantly went down backwards!! My dad has motion sickness but since it was so good he didn’t even care about his motion sickness. That’s probably the only roller coaster he went on purpose. It was actually kind of scary too. I said that because at one point we were in a giant cave that was dark all around with creepy stuff. It was pitch black. Then in that cave, after a while we instantly fell down and it started spraying mist at us then the roller coaster kept on going. The ride had Harry Potter commentary too. That was the best thing about it because when we fell down the commentary said, “Well, sorry about that!”
