The world’s largest iPhone factory in China has begun to run at nearly full capacity again. This factory’s production has been disrupted since October due to Covid-19 restrictions and worker protests. This factory is expected to produce around 90% of planned production. Apple said last month that they were working on fixing production, and Wedbush Securities analyst Daniel Ives estimated that Apple was losing around $1 billion a week in iPhone sales due to the disruptions. This supply chain issue caused wait times for the new iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max to reach up to 34 days right before the Christmas season.
