So, I already wrote about my ride to Hagrids in Harry Potter world. Now I’m going to write about more rides that I went on in Islands of Adventure!!
The next ride we went on was called “Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey”. It was actually not as fun as Hagrids but it was pretty good. I probably wouldn’t have wanted to go on that ride if we didn’t have the express pass. The ride was a simulation. It had twists and turns, and my dad got motion sickness on that ride because it wasn’t as good as Hagrids. Simulations are rides that you sit in, LIKE rollercoasters but NOT exactly. Most of the time simulations are indoors like the Harry Potter one. But instead of a roller coaster which you just go fast and go on loopy – loops. It’s just you move, then you stop and look at a screen. But, it looks real when it is shown on the screen. Sometimes the ride sprays water at you or puts a bunch of smoke on you.
The 3rd ride that we went on was a rollercoaster in Harry Potter Land called “The Fight of the Hippogriff”. The sign said it was a “High Speed Roller Coaster“, but it was not high speed at all. My mom said she wouldn’t go on it because of the sign. But the roller coaster lasted Min. 10 seconds Max. 15 seconds. It was so short. We waited in a 30 minute line just to go on a roller coaster that my brother and I didn’t like. After I told my mom all about it she wished she would’ve went on it.
