On Tuesday (February 2), Jeff Bezos said that he will leave the position of Amazon CEO later this year. He will now become an executive chair of Amazon. Jeff Bezos is one of the richest people on the planet, and was recently surpassed by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk. He founded Amazon on his own, and owns a majority stock share in the company.
The position of CEO will now be given to Andy Jassy. He is the chief executive of Amazon Web Services. Amazon is currently one of the most valuable companies in the world.
