A postage stamp meant to honor the “First Lady of Physics” 

On Thursday, Th USPS announced a new stamp that honors Chein-Shiung Wu. She was a Chinese nuclear physicist. This timing was made to overlap with the International women and Girls in Science.

Wu was born in 1912, and moved to the US when she was 24. She got a doctorate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. The postage stamp was designed by Ethel Kessler, and the original art was by Kam Mak. She is now one of the many scientists that the USPS has honored.
