In Uzbekistan, new fossils have been discovered. The fossils have revealed a new type of dinosaur, which is twice the size of a double decker bus. This dinosaur is called Dzharatitanis kingi. It is 65.6 feet long, is a cousin of Diplodocus, which is the largest dinosaur to have ever lived. It was a sauropod, which is a long necked dinosaur. It had a small head and very sharp teeth, and was able to rip off branches from trees.
Dzharatitanis kingi lived during the Cretaceous Period, which was 145.5 to 65.5 million years ago. It lived in a coastal plain near the Tethys Ocean on the westernmost point of the Asian landmass.
