Lots of US states have recently made the vaccine eligibility age requirement lower. Some of the recent states to do this are California, North Carolina, and Florida. Most states have made shots available to people over 50. Georgia has made it available for all adults and Texas is expected to do it later in the week. Lots of states, especially ones with high populations are going to make it available to all adults by the 2nd or 3rd week of April.
As of now 26% of the population in the United States have gotten at least one dose.
