A huge iceberg has broke off

A huge iceberg has broken off. It is bigger than Rhode Island, and is more than 1,600 sq. miles, which makes it the biggest iceberg in the world. It is named A-76, and it calved off the Ronne Ice Shelf and went into the Weddell Sea. A while back, another iceberg bigger than New York City calved off. I also explain what calving is in that article. The iceberg is 105 miles long, and 15 miles wide. It is also in the Weddell Sea, is named A-23A, and is almost 1,500 sq. miles. Even though A-76 is the biggest iceberg in the world currently, it is not the biggest iceberg ever. Another iceberg named B-15, which was over 4,200 sq. miles, was the biggest in recorded history.
