In the EU (European Union), the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine has been approved to vaccinate 12-15 year olds. The vaccine’s name is Comirnaty, and it was approved based off of the data of a phase III study. In the test, there were 2,260 participants, and the vaccine was 100% effective in preventing Covid-19. About a month ago, the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine was approved in the US, and it was endorsed by the CDC shortly after. Other vaccines include AstraZeneca’s vaccine, Moderna’s vaccine, and J&J’s vaccine. Moderna is currently testing it’s vaccine in 12 – 15 year olds, and is doing phase II and III studies. Pfizer is currently a “hold” stock, and BioNTech is a “Strong buy” stock
