An owner in Georgia of a repair shop is accused of paying his former employee his last paycheck of $915, by dumping more than 91,000 oil soaked pennies in front of the worker’s house. Basically, in January of last year, the worker, named Andreas Flaten, resigned from his job as an auto shop worker, and his boss, Miles Walker, wouldn’t pay him. Flatten then filed a lawsuit, and after the lawsuit was filed, Walker dumped 91,500 pennies covered with oil in front of Flaten’s house. Walker also left a note with a bad word on it. Flaten’s driveway became so stained with oil that he spent 7 hours cleaning it. The government investigated closely, and found out that Walker also didn’t pay his employees the minimum overtime rate, which means that Walker didn’t pay his employees enough when they worked overtime. They are now suing him for over $37,000, for damages, unpaid money, and violations.
