A Miami building has collapsed, and many rescue workers are searching for people beneath the rubble. The building that collapsed was a condo, named the Champlain Towers South building. It was twelve stories tall, and it collapsed on Thursday, June 24. There are 4 people dead so far, and more than 150 are missing. Joe Biden sent aid to Florida, to speed up the rescue operations. There are also reports that an official of the condo promised its residents that the building was safe, even though an engineering report said that the building had major structural damage and it needed immediate repairs. The official, named Ross Prieto, has now been fired by Surfside, the town that the condo was located in.
