Because Modi is being accused of not handling Covid-19 well, people are using the #ResignModi hashtag on Twitter. In fact, it was the most popular hashtag in India on Twitter on Monday, April 19.
Also, on Monday, India got 273,810 new cases, a record high new cases for 1 day! It also got a new record high of deaths – 1,619 of them. India has the second most people in the world, just behind China. It also has the second most total cases in the world – just behind the US. India is the first country that administered over 120 million doses, but it only has 14.3 million people fully vaccinated.
