In Dubai, a new world record has been set for the deepest diving pool. It already has the tallest building, and now it has this. 10 days after being named the deepest diving pool in the world by the Guinness World Records, it opened. This pool is 200 feet deep, with 3.7 million gallons of water, and it has a “sunken city” which divers can explore. It will take many dives to fully explore the underwater city, because it is so big. Currently, people can only get bookings by invitation. Later in July, bookings will become open to the public, and will start at $218. The advantages of diving in a pool is that there is now bad weather, the temperature can be monitored, and the pool can be well-lit. The only disadvantage is that there is no marine life like fish.
