The Senate is expected to pass a $1 trillion dollar bill, and it is expected that Democrats and Republicans will both vote for the bill. The bill is a plan to refresh “roads, railways, public transit, water systems, power grids, and broadband.” After this bill is passed, Democrats are expected to try and pass a $3.5 trillion dollar bill. The vote for this bill is expected to happen at 11 am ET. Even though Democrats have a tiny majority in the Senate, there are two Democrats that might not vote for the $3.5 trillion dollar bill – Senator Joe Manchin and Senator Kyrsten Sinema. If the Democrats want to pass the bill, they need all of the members to be on board.
