President Joe Biden is considering a vaccine mandate for federal workers. He is considering this to stop the spread of the new Delta variant of Covid-19. Under this mandate, all employees will be checked to see if they have the vaccine, and employees that didn’t get the vaccine have to wear masks at all times and get tested for the vaccine regularly.
The mandate was altered by CDC recommendation. The CDC also recommended people that are fully vaccinated to wear a mask indoors if they are in a place with a high spread of the virus. The federal Department of Veterans Affairs already announced that front-line health care workers have to be vaccinated in the next 2 months. The CDC is also recommending that all teachers, staff, students, and visitors wear masks, even if they are fully vaccinated.
