Disney+ now has over 94.9 million subscribers

On Thursday, the extremely popular Disney+ announced that it has gotten over 94.9 million subscribers. Disney+ is a streaming service like Netflix, and has different shows and movies. It is also owned by Disney. Disney expected to have 60 – 90 million subscribers by 2024 at first. Now, it expects to have 230 – 260 million subscribers by 2024.

The company Netflix had 27 million subscribers in 2007, and now has 204 million subscribers. That is a long course of 13 years. Disney+ has been around for a little more than a year, but has gotten 94.9 million subscribers in that short course of time probably. Disney+ has gotten 10 million subscribers in its first day of launch. The pandemic has boosted the number of customers for Disney+ because people are forced to stay indoors.
