DoorDash, a food delivery company, has recently announced that they have bought the robot company Chowbotics. Chowbotics is an automatic food preparation company.
Chowbotics was founded 7 years ago, and they have a robot called Sally. Sally stores up to 22 ingredients, and makes bowls, salads, and other food with the ingredients. Chowbotics has gotten more sales ever since the Covid-19 pandemic started, because it is a human-touch-free way to make food. Chowbotics will grow faster now that they have been bought by the bigger company, DoorDash.
Chowbotics employees are now called DoorDash employees. The company will still have their own name, and will work independently.
