Many of Dr. Seuss’ books have rocketed to the top of Amazon’s bestseller list. Recently, six of Dr. Seuss’ books have been recalled because of racist imagery*. This announcement was made on Read Across America Day, which would have been Dr. Seuss’ 117th birthday.
One of his most famous books, “The Cat in the Hat”, is the bestselling book on Amazon. It is trailed by “One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish” and “Green Eggs and Ham”. Those 3 books are also followed by many more of his books. In fact, 15 of his books are in Amazon’s top 20 list.
*The six books that were recalled are: ″And to Think That I Saw It on Mulberry Street,” “If I Ran the Zoo,” “McElligot’s Pool,” “On Beyond Zebra!,” “Scrambled Eggs Super!” and “The Cat’s Quizzer.”
