Due to violent protests in China, Apple is considering moving its iPhone production away from China. The worker protests are about Covid regulations at the world’s largest iPhone factory. This factory is nicknamed “iPhone city”. Apple is considering moving the production to other countries such as India and Vietnam, and to lower their dependence on Taiwanies electronics manufacturers. iPhone city houses over 300,000 workers, and at one point, it created over 85% of the iPhone pro models.
