India has given Google a $113 million dollar fine for abusing the dominant position of its Google Play Store. It commanded Google to allow app developers to use 3rd party payment processing services for in-app purchases or for app purchases. The Competition Commision of India opened up a probe into Google near the end of 2020, and they recently said that requiring developers to use Google’s billing system “constitutes an imposition of unfair condition,”
