Starting Monday and going until Friday, the popular restaurant chain McDonald’s will offer free breakfast “Thank You Meals” to teachers and school staff. The meals will be given in a regular Happy Meal box, and will have 1 entree, hash browns, and a beverage. The teachers and school staff will need to show a work id to receive the meals. McDonalds already made this offer for front-line workers last year, which included health care workers, police officers, firefighters, and paramedics. The offer lasted 2 weeks, and in that time, the restaurants gave out 12 million meals. The entree options will be an Egg McMuffin, a Bacon, an Egg and Cheese Biscuit, or a Sausage Biscuit. The drink choices are a medium, hot, or iced coffee, or a soft drink. The last thing is, instead of a toy, they will include a thank you note in the meal.
