Yesterday (Saturday, November 26), the Michigan Wolverines’ football team demolished archrival Ohio State 45-23. This was their second straight victory against Ohio State in their annual matchup. It was also their first win in Columbus since 2000, as well as the first time both teams were 11-0 since the “Game of the Century” in 2006. The Wolverines will now play the Purdue Boilermakers in the Big 10 Championship Game on December 3 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana. Michigan is a heavy favorite in that game.
It’s been a big year for Michigan, going 12-0 for the first time in 25 years. They beat big teams like Penn State, Michigan State, and Ohio State. They are ranked No. 2 in the nation, and are a lock for the College Football Playoff. They definitely deserve everything. What’s next for them? We’ll see.
