Andrew Cuomo, Governor of New York, has resigned, and it will be effective in 14 days. He was almost impeached by the state government, which is led by Democrats. Andrew Cuomo is a Democrat, and he is accused of abusing several women. Impeachment means to be kicked out of office by the government. His successor will be Kathy Hochul, his former Lt. Governor. Kathy’s former role of Lt. Governor will be held by The Democratic Senate majority leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins. If the next Senate majority leader is a woman, the top three government positions in New York will be held by women. Kathy is going to be the first female New York Governor ever.
