NFL Conference Championship Predictions + Rumors That Legendary Quarterback Tom Brady May Retire at Age 44 Are Swirling

Today, I am doing 2 articles in one. First let’s start with big breaking news. Tom Brady, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback and one of the greatest football players ever, may be retiring after 22 seasons in the NFL. Brady was a 7-time Super Bowl champion, more than any player or team in NFL history. He also has more touchdown passes (624) and passing yards (84,520) than any quarterback in NFL history. He was drafted by the New England Patriots in the sixth round of the 2000 NFL Draft. He turned a mediocre team into a dynasty, winning 6 Super Bowls with the franchise. The Patriots said on Twitter, “For 20 amazing years, you gave us everything you had. When you arrived as a sixth-round pick – and the best selection this franchise has ever made- no one imagined all you’d accomplish or how much you’d soon mean to an entire region. You now leave New England after two decades of dominance as the GOAT and forever a part of our family.” Personally, if it’s true I’ll honestly miss him. Who won’t? He was an amazing quarterback and a nice man off the field. Even if you didn’t like him, you have to miss him. He shocked the world when he left New England for Tampa, Florida in March of 2020, where he spent the last two years of his career. He won Super Bowl 55 with them, and led them to a division title the year after. Although rumors are swirling of his retirement, I don’t believe them. If it’s true, I will miss him.

The Conference Championships of the NFL are here! I will be predicting both games, and breaking them down.

Bengals vs. Chiefs: Chiefs win 35-30
The Bengals have surprised me throughout the playoffs, but I think their luck runs out. I think both teams have high-powered offenses, but Patrick Mahomes is the greatest quarterback in the game, bar none.

49ers vs. Rams: 49ers win 27-23
The 49ers shocked the world by taking down the mighty Packers last week, while the Rams beat Brady and the Buccaneers, despite giving up a 24-point lead. I personally think the 49ers defense is capable of stopping the high-powered Rams offense, but we will see. I personally want the 49ers to win.

In 2 weeks, the Super Bowl is coming up. Who will play there? Like always, we’ll see.
