The chipmaker Nvidia just reported its 3rd quarter results, and its sales beat analyst expectations, but its earnings per share were lower. Its earnings per share were $0.58, adjusted, versus $0.69 expected, and its revenue was $5.93 billion, versus $5.77 billion expected. Nvidia said it expects about $6 billion in sales for the 4th quarter, lower than Refinitv estimates of about $6.09 billion. The chips Nvidia makes are not edible chips, and they are computer chips. These chips are very important for computers, and that’s what makes Nvidia such an important company.
