One of the fastest growing companies in the world made a shocking move

OpenAI, the company that created the mesmerizing chatbot ChatGPT, made a shocking move – firing its founder and CEO, Sam Altman. The company said the reason behind this move was Altman was not always truthful with the board and not good in his communication, preventing it from doing its job. They said that caused the board to lose trust in Altman to lose the company. OpenAI said Mira Murati, its Chief Technology Officer, will currently act as the CEO until a permanent person is chosen. 

OpenAI has been growing exponentially since the launch of ChatGPT a year ago, which is a Chatbot that can do different tasks based on the user input. It can do things such as drafting emails and building websites based on what the user asks it to do. It is a new technology called Generative AI, which can provide image and text responses to user input. Other companies such as Google and Microsoft have been working on their own generative AI. Recently, Altman himself revealed a new feature for ChatGPT – people can now create their own GPT without any coding to suit their needs. 

Overall, this move was a very shocking (and questionable) one. It will take time to see what effect this will have on OpenAI and the Artificial Intelligence Industry as a whole.
