People across the country are infuriated at the FDA, for not recalling some baby formula earlier. Basically, the FDA (The Food and Drug Administration) recalled baby formula two weeks ago, and the formula was linked to five hospitalizations, and two deaths. In September, an infant was seriously sickened with Cronobacter sakazakii, a rare bacteria. The FDA finally sent inspectors to inspect the plant that the formula was being made in after 4 months, and issued a recall after 3 weeks. This formula was made by Abbott Nutrition.
