Pfizer and BioNTech, the companies that worked together to make a Covid-19 vaccine, have been sued by Moderna, another company that made a vaccine. Pfizer is a huge pharmaceutical company, and Moderna is a start-up biotechnology company that never sold anything before its covid vaccine in late 2020. Moderna is suing Pfizer and BionTech because they claim that Pfizer and BioNTech both used Moderna’s vaccine technology while developing their own vaccine. Both Moderna and Pfizer have made billions and billions of dollars by selling their vaccine. Moderna has said it is not attempting to remove Pfizer’s vaccine from the market, “to ensure continued access to these lifesaving medicines.”
