Prince Philip of Britain has died at the age of 99. This sad event occured on Friday, April 9. He was Queen Elizabeth II’s husband ever since 1947. They have been married for over 70 years! In the last few months, Prince William has been having health issues. He was in two different London hospitals over the course of 1 month. He had heart surgery and was treated for an infection during that time. He was the Duke of Edinburgh before his death. There are gun salutes happening in honor of the Prince. Many influential people including President Joe Biden complemented the Duke.
