The US has told the chipmaker Nvidia to stop selling 2 of the chips the company makes to China and Russia. The two chips are designed for Artificial Intelligence (AI), and the government is also making a license requirement on products that have A100 or H100 integrated circuits which are used in the machine learning process that makes AI systems better. These chips are not chips that we eat, but they are special technology chips. Nvidia makes computer chips, AI chips, etc. These chips are very important for technology.
