Thursday Night Football Preview

On September 16, the New York Giants will play the Washington Football Team in Landover, Maryland. You may be wondering, why is it being played in Maryland. It is because he home stadium for the Washington Football Team is in Maryland.

Both teams are 0-1. New York lost to the Denver Broncos, 27-13. Washington lost to the LA Chargers, 20-16. Washington will be without quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, as he suffered a hip injury last week. Taylor Heinecke will be the starter against the Giants. New York’s coach said that running back Saquon Barkley will play. Barkley is recovering from a torn ACL he suffered last season. The Giants are currently 3-point underdogs, according to Draft Kings Sportsbook. The Washington Football Team let Justin Herbert throw for 337 yards, one touchdown and one interception last week. They have a good defense, but without Fitzpatrick, their offense may struggle a bit. Meanwhile for the Giants, quarterback Daniel Jones had a good start to the game against Denver, but a fumble in the 3rd quarter in Denver territory led to a Broncos field goal to make their lead 20-7.

Now for the part you’ve all been waiting for: my prediction. I think this will be a sloppy game, but I think Washington will win 19-14. Chase Young is going to cause problems for Daniel Jones, and that will probably propel them to victory here. Let me know what you think.
