Former US President Donald Trump had his home searched by the FBI on Monday. They had a warrant that the justice department believed that presidential and classified records were illegally kept. The search was in Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida. If Trump is keeping the presidential and classified records at his house, it will go against the Presidential Records Act of 1978, which requires the preservation of official documents. There is a criminal investigation going on that has to do with how he took tons of boxes of presidential and classified records when he left the White House last year.
