The House has recently passed an LGBTQ+ rights bill, now the bill is going to the Senate. If it passes the Senate and President Biden signs it and it becomes a law. So, what does it mean? It means that people in the LGBTQ+ community would have equal rights to straight people. It bans harmful speech to people who are in the LGBTQ+ community,
Why is it good? Well, for quite some time, people of the community were treated badly. Now, this can ensure that they are safe and they can be who they want to be. This bill could do all that if it is approved.
