Walmart, the retail giant and the largest employer in the country, is starting to use fully driverless trucks. They partnered with Gatik, a Silicon Valley startup. Walmart has started using 2 trucks, which go on a 7 mile loop every day for 12 hours. These trucks will be filled with online grocery orders in a Walmart fulfillment center, and then will deliver them to a nearby Walmart store in Arkansas. This started in December of last year, when Walmart got approval from the state. There are many other companies trying out driverless trucks.
