It started as a class project for Mihir. He was asked by his Social Studies teacher to research current events and to summarize them.

Lots of events were happening in the world at that time such as Covid-19 and the US Presidential election. As he researched the news, he started getting more and more interested each day.

He wanted more of the news. But clean, sanitized, and simplified kids friendly news website are no where to be found. Look at the kids news matches below from Google News. 

That sparked the idea to create a website that’s run by kids and is for kids. Mihir will be joined by his fellow classmate Aadi. They will both compile articles and post them on this website so then other kids can benefit.

That’s when Curious Kids News (CKN) was created.
